How do I book bulky item removal?

Most Town Councils offer HDB residents free bulky item removal. A common rule is up to 3 movable furniture items or appliances per household per month, booked a few working days in advance.

Arrangements vary. For example, Aljunied-Hougang Town Council takes bookings by phone with 3 working days' notice and collects Monday to Friday, 2pm to 5pm; Sengkang Town Council accepts an online form, office visits or phone calls, and collects on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 2pm to 4pm.

House moving, renovation debris and dismantling built-in furniture are usually not covered. Put items in the corridor only on the appointment day. Check your own Town Council's website first.
