What is the Integrated Programme (IP)?
A six-year course that skips the O-Level exam and leads to A-Level, IB or the NUS High Diploma.
The Integrated Programme (IP) is one of the Express programmes. It is a six-year course: students skip the O-Level exam in Secondary 4 and take the A-Level, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or the NUS High School Diploma, then go on to university.
Each IP school's programme is unique. MOE strongly discourages transfers; moving between IP schools is not allowed except in exceptional circumstances, and students are expected to complete all six years.
Students on the O-Level track who do well can apply to transfer into the IP at Secondary 3. To see which schools offer the IP, filter in MOE's SchoolFinder and check past score ranges.
